Hidden in Fremont CA is one of the Bay Area’s most thrilling race courses everyone should try, LeMans Karting. LeMans Karting is a heart pounding go-kart race course where you as the driver will be filled with exhilarating moments and heart pumping action between the green and checkered flags. The course is an indoor and outdoor track spanning 22,000 square feet and is designed by professional racers.
Racers get behind the drivers seat of European Bowman Storm racing karts. Engineered by pros in the UK with celebrated track records in motorsports, the karts deliver a technically unbeatable combination of speed and handling to drivers of all levels. Racers young and old peel around the corners at speeds up to 40mph.
When you arrive at the location you are briefed on a short video on the rules of the track and how to handle your kart. You then head out to the track and suit up with a head sock and helmet. Next, All racers climb into their karts and are strapped into a racing harness and neck guard. You and others then step into your karts and await the command to take up your pole position at the starting line to await the green flag.

There are many race types offered with different time periods. You can do timed circuit racing, endurance racing and league racing. After 20 minutes of racing you will feel pretty physically beat from the adrenaline rush and g forces. There is nothing more exciting as going down a straight away at 40mph and trying to squeeze into the inside corner as you pass another racer. Each of you trying to avoid each other as one of you accidentally clips the other and slams into the wall if unlucky. Every lap is timed and all racers get a print out and see their name on the race board for placement after each race.
League nights are the most exciting where you see some of the top racers taking on each other. They even have a junior league for kids. If you check out the LeMans calendar you will see events like Happy Hour, Ladies Night, and other key events. LeMans also offers team-building events for companies as well as private party packages.
